Overview

This article explains how to configure log alerting in JetPatch using the Configure Alerts feature in the Logs & Alerts tab. 

JetPatch supports sending log notifications as SNMP traps or email messages, allowing administrators to receive real-time alerts for different log levels: Information, Audit, Warning, or Error.

Each log type can be configured independently to send alerts via SNMP (requires SNMP configuration) or email (requires SMTP configuration) to specified recipients.

Configuration Steps

To configure log alerting:

• Log in as a JetPatch Administrator.
• In the Logs & Alerts tab, click Configure Alerts:

• By the relevant log types, select SNMP, Email, or none:

• Click OK.
