Overview
This article describes how to configure tool-specific email alert recipients in JetPatch.
Unlike the global email alerts mechanism, this feature allows you to define different email addresses to be notified per Agent Tool, with configurable alert severity.
Prerequisites
The following must be configured before using this feature:
- The email account must be configured under Settings → E-mail.
- The email Alerts must be enabled under Settings → E-mail Alerts.
Configuring Email Alerts for an Agent Tool
- Go to Policy & Tools > Tools and choose the relevant tool.
- Click the Alerts tab.
- Click Edit and add the email list and alert severity.
- Alerts are set by default to disabled and can be enabled at any time.

| Note: The general E-mail Alerts mechanism (under Settings) works independently from the Tool Alerts. |
