Overview
The Task Scheduler allows you to automatically run tasks on endpoints in selected Smart Groups at a predetermined schedule and with a regular cycle.
The Task Scheduler is located under Schedulers in the main menu.
| Note: The selected task will run only on applicable and compatible endpoints within the selected Smart Groups. |
Create a Task Scheduler
- Navigate to Schedulers → Task Scheduler.
- Click +New.
- Fill in the following fields:

Frequency Options
The Frequency setting defines how often the task runs.
Options vary based on the selected Repeat Frequency:
| Frequency | Configuration |
| Day | Set the exact time and timezone for the daily task execution. |
| Week | Select the day(s) of the week and the exact time and timezone for execution. |
| Month | Two options are available: • Recurring Time – Trigger on a specific occurrence (first, second, third, fourth, last) and day of the week, at a specific time. • Day in the Month – Specify a day (1–31) and time for the monthly execution. |
In all frequency options, you can also set the Repeat Interval to specify how often the cycle repeats (e.g., every 2 weeks).
Managing Your Schedulers
In the Task Scheduler main screen, you can view all active and inactive schedules.
Key Actions:
Status Toggle: Quickly Enable/Disable a schedule.
Run Task Now: Trigger an immediate execution.
Edit/Delete: Modify or remove the scheduler.
Activities
An activity is created for each endpoint the task runs on, displayed in the Activities table (Endpoints → Activities).
- Type: Task Scheduler
- Filter: “Task Scheduler” is available in the Activities table — select one or more schedulers to filter relevant activities.
RBAC
Access to the Task Scheduler is governed by your Server Scopes.
Full Access: Permissions for all Smart Groups associated with a scheduler.
View Only: Permissions for only some of the Smart Groups.
