Overview

This article explains how to automatically deploy the JetPatch (vLink) Connector using policy-based deployment. This approach allows you to manage connector deployment and server management through automated rules and smart groups.

Prerequisites

• Enabled protocols
• Policy-Based Endpoint Account Assignment
• Connector Management Service

Deployment Steps

To automatically deploy the JetPatch (vLink) Connector and manage your servers, perform the following steps: 

1. In JetPatch, go to "Agents" > Managed Agents > JetPatch
2. Click Add Rule
3. Select the required service 
4. Insert Rule name
5. Select smart group 
6. Turn autofix mode to once / moderate/aggressive 
7. Enable the rule 
8. Click save
