How do I upgrade Linux OS to the next minor release (eg: RHEL 7.7 to 7.9)?

For yum-based Linux OS, the standard process is to install the right kernel advisory via the JetPatch patches catalog.

Note: kernel patches require a reboot.

For SLES SPs, this can be accomplished with a script. Please contact JetPatch support for more information.
