Start or Stop Managed Agent

You can start or stop a managed agent, from the JetPatch Console or locally. To locally start or stop a managed agent, run an JetPatch command, where the <command> is:

start <agent_name> [timeout]

or

stop <agent_name> [timeout]

where:

<agent_name> is the vAgent's short name (for example, hyperic as it appears in the vagents_list);

[timeout] is the time, in seconds, that the command should wait for the command to take effect before considering the action to have failed. If omitted, a default of 300 seconds (5 minutes) is used.
