Open Virtual Interface

Pre-requisite

When agents are virtualized, agent-specific commands cannot be executed from the regular OS command line. Instead, you can open a shell interface to the managed agent.

To open a managed agent virtual shell interface, run a JetPatch command, where the <command> is: :

shell <agent_name>

where <agent_name> is the vAgent's short name (for example, hyperic as it appears in the vagents_list).
