Custom Email Alerts per Tool (JetPatch Agent Manager)
You can now define different Email addresses that would be alerted per Tool (configured log level)
- Go to Policy & Tools > Tools > Choose tool
- Click the Alerts tab
- Click Edit and add email list and alert severity
- Alerts are set by default to disabled and can be enabled at any time.
Notes:
- Email account must be configured (under the platform Settings → E-mail) for this feature to work.
- E-mail Alerts must be enabled (under the platform Settings → E-mail Alerts) for this feature to work.
- The general E-mails Alerts mechanism (under Settings) works independently from the Tool Alerts
Modify Policy Rule owner
- Admin users can change ownership of Policy Rules per toll. The new policy owner can be:
- Admin users
- A user with permissions to create a rule and has access to the relevant tool (within his tool scope)
- Police Rules which were owned by deleted users, are automatically reassigned to the admin user
API to force policy execution
Added the ability to re-run policy execution, using an API command.
Exceptions execution can be defined by Rule name only or Rule name and Server name.
Once this command runs JetPatch Agent Manager will execute actions for fixing open exceptions.
Notes:
- Tasks defined by this API command will have priority over other tasks that are already in the Activity queue but not In Progress.
- The command could run via Rest or Python Client (for more details see Python Client Help)
- Rule configuration is based on configuration values as shown by the UI except for the following: Rule Auto Fix mode (always set as Once) and Rule Autofix Schedule (always set to Off)
- Running this command will not try to fix the exception if it is expected to fail from a known reason (for example - if the target server is turned off) - the command will return a proper replay.
Multiple URLs
Starting from JetPatch 3.9.4, you can add multiple URL's for primary and secondary addresses when you create a new JetPatch service.
The URL's are ordered by priority, and in case the connection for all primary URLs is lost, it will move to the Secondary list.
Read more about the feature in our knowledge center.
