Overview

This article describes the known limitations of the JetPatch Puppet integration. 

These limitations apply to the current version of the integration and should be considered during environment setup and agent orchestration.

Limitations :

DNS Not Configured - Manual hosts file update required

If DNS is not configured in the customer environment, the hosts file on the back-end server must be updated manually with the Agent IP/Hostname.

Note: Configuring the hosts file on the back-end server is a manual step and is not handled by JetPatch automation.

Non-default certificate name not recognized

The orchestration script does not recognize a non-default certificate name when set as a parameter in the vAgent configuration.

Self-test launch not supported during agent orchestration

Launching a self-test as part of the agent orchestration process is not supported by the JetPatch infrastructure.
