Users can access the Remediation Plan Compliance report by navigating to Patches > Remediation Plans, selecting the desired remediation plan, and clicking on the Compliance Report icon ().
Use Case
The Remediation Plan Compliance report provides a complete overview of the compliance status of your remediation plan. This report is essential for IT administrators to:
- Monitor the compliance status of remediation plans.
- Identify and address issues with non-compliant devices.
- Plan further actions based on the current patching status.
Compliance Report Information
The report includes the following key details:
Snapshot of the Remediation Plan Status:
- Percentage of Plan Installed: Shows the percentage of patches installed based on the requested compliance.
- Updates that have Failed: Displays the number of updates that failed to install.
- Expected Baseline Compliance: Indicates the expected level of compliance for the plan.
Patching Actions Status:
- A graphical representation of the patching actions and their current status.
Endpoints Exemptions
This section provides information on endpoints that are exempt from the remediation plan:
- Patching Action Status - Graph: Visual representation of the status of patching actions.
- Number of Endpoints and Their Status: Displays the number of endpoints and their current compliance status.
- Devices Status: Identifies problematic endpoints that require attention.
- Reasons for Incomplete Remediation: Explains why certain endpoints cannot be fully patched. For more information, see the Endpoint Exemption article.
Patches Compliance and Installation Progress
This section breaks down the status of patches:
- Patch Status: Shows if and where patches were installed and applied.
- Interactive Bar: Clicking on the bar takes you to the endpoint management table.
- Filters: Filter the data by Name, Remediation Plan, Group, Operating System, Patching Status, Compliance, Vulnerability Scan, and Exemption.
- Patch Details: View details such as OS, Products, Category, Severity, Release Date, and the number of endpoints the patch is needed on.
Applicable Endpoints Compliance Status
The compliance status of endpoints assigned to the remediation plan is detailed here:
- Patching Status Bar: Clicking on this bar will take you to the patch catalog for more information.
- Filters: Filter the data by Name, Group, Operating System, Patching Status, Compliance, Vulnerability Scan, and Exemption.
- Exemptions Column: Indicates the reasons why an endpoint is exempt from the remediation plan. If the column is empty, the server can be patched.
Downloadable Reports
Reports can be downloaded by clicking on the Download Reports icon located at the top right (). The available reports include:
- Remediation Plan Summaries Report (CSV): Provides extended information on the current remediation plan.
- Remediation Plan - Patched Actions for Endpoints (CSV): A matrix describing the patch actions on endpoints as part of the remediation plan.
- Remediation Plan Compliance Report (PDF): A PDF report that includes all the details shown in the UI, along with detailed device statuses.
Activities
Clicking on the activities icon on the top right of the report will take users to the Endpoint > Activities screen, filtered by the Remediation Plan ID.
