Unregistering a Managed Agent from its Management Server

The client can activate a managed agent's management server plugin (as configured in the management service) on the managed agent's management server with the deregister argument by performing a DELETE request on the managed agent instance's registration resource. Deregistration should occur upon management service removal or a management service update that no longer associates the endpoint with this management server, so this request is only for cases where deregistration failed.

Request syntax:

Delete <registration-url>

The response includes an ETag and a task object that can be used to track progress.
