Upgrading JetPatch RPMs Todd Kirkland December 12, 2019 23:38 Updated Follow For RPM-based deployments, JetPatch will provide one or more updated RPMs for upgrading the JetPatch Manager console when relevant. Note1: If you have previous RPMs on the server, please keep them in case of rollback.Note2: Before you upgrade, please backup the database. To upgrade JetPatch Manager: rpm -Uvh intigua-* If you have a custom mount location for agents and the new upgrade includes a new connector, you will also need to do the following: copy newest connector VAI files (total of two files)from /usr/share/intigua/packageto /u01/intigua/package chown tomcat:tomcat vlink_*chmod 644 vlink_*cp --preserve=all vlink_* /u01/intigua/package/ * When using your own NGINX certificate: Backup the certificate file located in the /etc/nginx directory before the upgrade Copy back after the upgrade has completed If the upgrade includes a new version of the connector, provision the updated connector to the endpoints Create a JetPatch Connector management service with the new version of the services. Log into the Console as an Administrator, and go to the Servers tab. If some endpoints have already been updated, display the JetPatch Agent Manager version column and filter the list to view only those with older versions. To avoid errors, filter the list by the Status column to view only endpoints with active connections. Remember that you'll need to update the others later. Click the uppermost checkbox to select all endpoints: If there are multiple pages, click to select all: Provision the new JetPatch Agent Manager connector management service to the endpoints. In the Servers tab, select the endpoints, and click Server Actions > Manage Intigua on Server: Select Manage Intigua On Server, and under Configuration Service, select a management service: Click Apply. It may take some time for the action to be performed.
