Overview
JetPatch can send all logs to a syslog server.
This article describes how to define a syslog server in the JetPatch Manager Console.
Prerequisites
Ensure that organizational firewalls allow syslog traffic (usually UDP port 514) from the JetPatch Manager Console to the syslog server.
Defining a Syslog Server
- Make sure that organizational firewalls allow syslog traffic (usually UDP port 514) from the JetPatch Manager Console to the syslog server.
- Log in as an Administrator.
- Go to Settings > Syslog, and click Edit Configuration.
- Select Enable Syslog, and provide the Syslog Server IP address or resolvable name and the Syslog Server Port (usually 514):
- Click Save.
Notes
| Note 1: There is no option to configure specific logs to be sent. JetPatch will send all logs. |
| Note 2: "Send a test log" sends an 'Intigua Manager Syslog Test' info message to the specified syslog server. The returned value is a connection status. |
