Configuring Syslog

To define a syslog server:

1. Make sure that organizational firewalls allow syslog traffic (usually UDP port 514) from the JetPatch Manager Console to the syslog server.
2. Log in as an Administrator.
3. Go to Settings > Syslog, and click Edit Configuration:

   

4. Select Enable Syslog, and provide the Syslog Server IP address or resolvable name and the Syslog Server Port (usually 514):
   

    

5. Click Save.

Note1 - There is no option to configure specific logs to be sent, JetPatch will send all logs.

Note2 - "Send a test log" sends an 'Intigua Manager Syslog Test' info message to the specified syslog server.  The returned value is a connection status.
